Intuitive Movement

How do you learn to move pain-free, have fluid movement, balanced musculature and develop the physical ability to enjoy a variety of activities for the rest of your life? Through Intuitive Movement. This approach helps you develop a deeper connection to the feedback systems of the body working with all the essential modalities of movement including: strength, power, coordination, balance and flexibility. This wholistic approach to exercise will bring about your greatest potential whether you’re an elite athlete or dealing with chronic fatigue and pain issues. It’s all about knowing where to start and how to progress.

I have been personal training for 20+ years in Miami Beach, Denver, Los Angeles and Ojai. My expertise and experience allows me to customize the workouts so you will experience a safe, productive, and invigorating workout no matter what level you are starting from. (short bio)

I incorporate exercises from a variety of disciplines including : Functional Training, Pilates, Yoga, PNF stretching, Acroyoga,  Sports Conditioning and Active Play.  I also use a variety of portable exercise tools including: The ViPR (shown above), TRX Suspension Straps, Resistance Bands, Medicine Balls, as well as a frisbee, hacky sack and volleyball!

One thing I’ve learned over the years as a coach, trainer and nutrition consultant is that, focusing on short-sighted goals often leads to  injury, burnout, boredom, stress, metabolic syndromes, muscular imbalances and eating disorders.  In order to have staying power in your life, exercise has to be therapeutic, feel productive, and be something you look forward to every day.  This is the mantra for Intuitive Movement and my passion for LIVIN’.
